We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our team.

 

Work Location: Country Court Mall, 3305 Smith Dr #7, Armstrong, BC V4Y 0A2

Position: Cook

Wage: $24 per hour

Working Hours: 30 ~ 35 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible

Position Available: 1

Benefits: 4% vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation per year

Responsibilities:

·       Prepare and cook complete meals or individual Japanese menu items and appetizers according to established recipes and standards.;

·       Oversee and ensure smooth kitchen operation in accordance with the standards of restaurant;

·       Prepare special dishes for customers with food allergies, intolerance, or dietary restriction as needed;

·       Plan new dishes on our menu, determine the serving size of the food, and estimate food costs;

·       Supervise and train kitchen helpers with food preparation, food safety standards and time management to provide meals;

·       Clean kitchen and work area, ensuring the work area is always sanitized and clean;

·       Regularly maintain inventory and records of ingredients, essential equipment and supplies, and order supplies as needed;

Job Requirements:

·       Completion of secondary school is usually required.

·       At least 3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.

·       Ability to work under pressure as a team player in a busy kitchen atmosphere.

·       Working knowledge of English.
