in Collingwood East Van-couver. Since 1990, we have helped
thousands of British Columbians save on auto, life, health,travel and
business Insurance coverage. We are currently looking for an
Administrative Officerto join ourteam. The ideal candidate will process
strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
in a fast-paced office environment.
Job position: Administrative officer
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Hourly Wage: $36.60 – $37.60 per hour (Depending on
working experience)
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Work Location: 5750 Tyne Street, Vancouver, B.C. Canada, V5R 4L6
Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible
Position Available: 1
Benefits: 4 % vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Coordinate and manage daily office procedures to ensure smooth
operations and compli-ance with established policies;
• Analyze existing procedures, identify areas for improvement, and
implement new adminis-trative processes;
• Set work priorities and supervise, delegate tasks to office staff, and
monitor progress to en-sure that all assigned responsibilities are completed accurately and on time;
• Plan and coordinate office services, including insurance brokers,
office equipment and sup-plies, insurance application forms,
maintenance and security services;
• Support budgeting and financial planning by monitoring expenses,
maintaining accurate fi-nancial records, and implementing costcontrol measures;
• Organize and maintain both physical and digital filing systems,
ensuring all company rec-ords are kept up-to-date and secure;
• Act as a liaison between departments, ensuring effective
communication and problem reso-lution to support office efficiency.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required;
• A university degree or college diploma in business or public
administration is preferred;
• Atleast1 year of experience in a senior clerical or executive
secretarial position related to office administration is usually required;
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail;
• Excellent communication abilities and the capability to coordinate
team activities;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring optimal
office operations.
